Been a while

It's been a while since I have posted, but it's for good reason. I have been running around with a huge amount of energy. I think using the energy gym twice this week gave me a huge recharge to get back into action. I have also registered for my certification so I can work in others using the same treatments I was given. I whole heartedly believe that if I went from unable to feel from my chest down to walking better every day I see no reason how it couldn't help with any injury or trauma. I have really learned the difference between treating and fixing ailments in the body.

CST Session 3/21/12

Tim was in a great mood when he arrived today.  We did CST work, leg work and NFB.  The NFB was done on both feet and legs up to the knees.  Tim directed the majority of points to effect.  The more Tim recovers the more he knows what he needs and the more he registers how the inside of his body feels.

One of the wonderful things that happens to people as they recover is the ability to feel from inside their body.  This may sound strange; but most people feel only what happens outside the body; i.e., scrapping your knee, a papercut, a bruise, stubbed toe, etc.

Tim is now able to feel the connections.  When working on his feet he can feel the pull up to his skull.  He recognizes that both areas must resolve in order for recovery to occur.

It would be a wonderful thing if at a young age we were all taught what it feels like to have an unrestricted body.  When the body is in symmetry the body is weightless, light, free.  In addition the mind has far greater abilities and capacity to understand, be creative, grasp information, seek new challenges, etc.

Lots of good news

Had a nice weekend. Went to SF Zoo and amazed myself at how far and long I walked with no cane or anything. I really felt normal and it was awesome. It was really motivating to be able to pull off a day trip again. I have also been healin anyone who will let me. Sometimes I think I bug people but it's so much fun and rewarding. I have noticed it helps my body a lot too. I really enjoy trying to out-do myself every day to gauge how well I'm doing.

Now I am walking better, I would really like to start running. Since I was small running hurt my back tremendously and now that I'm starting to get around again I plan to start running. If nothing else to show people that even after a horrific injury I can be in better shape than most people.

Homeopath 3/7/12

Hi everyone,
I just thought I would update the homeopathic part of Tim's case.  Tim has been taking a LM remedy daily along with a few others to take if needed.  Tim is doing well and progress continues.  So
we are just continuing the protocol.  There is no need to change anything.    His energy is good, his healing improves daily.  So for me all is going well.  We will not go to the next LM level until needed.

CST Session 3/7/12

Tim came in today looking very good.  His coloring is much better and seems to remain longer and longer.  His legs are feeling better all the time.  He is now working on himself.  When things start hurting he places on hand on the pain and the other opposite it.  It works everytime - the pain lessens or diminshes.  He also is placing his hands on other people as well and is making them feel better.  When you can feel your own connections you can feel others.  Tim will be great at this should he desire to - even on the side.

Today we connected the NFB with his hands; inclusive of the palms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, brachial plexus, C7 and T1.  We did both arms and Tim picked the points.  As Tim feels more of his connections he is able to decide where the equipment or treatment is needed.  We did his right arm first and by the time it was done it felt much better.  It is a strange feeling waiting to complete the left as they do feel differently until they are both done.  Tim's arms felt better connected then when he came in.

Tim is amazing.  He continues to work on his own; as well as, continues to live his life.  He is playing guitar faster and faster, he is driving more, he recently when on a weekend getaway with his family, he is walking further and further everyday.  Life is changing for Tim.  We are so very happy for him and we all thank God for his blessings.

Enjoy your day.  Praise God!

Working on flexibility

Enjoying the sun very much. I always feel so much better in the warm weather. I have spent a lot of time doing yoga and getting more movement out of my legs. It has also made me realize how much muscle inflammation in my back and shoulders has disappeared. My muscles used to all be stiff and hard. Now they are soft and flexible. I couldn't lift my left arm above my shoulder just a couple months ago and now it seems to rotate normally with no pain. As my body gains flexibility, I notice my walking improve which is great. I love walking in public and not have to rely on something to walk.

I am also glad to say that my baby Odin has stopped doing his "daddy walk" where he imitates how I used to walk, bent really far forward and shuffling his feet. The is no better feeling as a father to be able to run around and play with my child.

Trip over the weekend

Went to my grandparents vacation home 3 hours north for the first time since last July, which did not go well. This time went a lot better though. The car ride was the ttoughest part, and caused all the discomfort. It felt really good to be able to handle rides longer than local errands.

CST Session 2/22/12

Tim drove himself to his appointment today.  As he feels his legs and feet more his driving is increasing.  He is setting goals for himself and achieving them.  He should be very proud of himself.

Today we did neurofeedback placing the electrodes on seven points on the right foot first then moving up the leg.  Then we did his right foot and leg.  Following this we left one on his big toe (brain in reflexology) and put one on each leg in the same place.  We did this a few times but keeping an even distribution on both legs.  Tim said this added another layer to his healing - he really liked it.

Next we will be doing his arms; inclusive of the legs and feet.  While he is an accomplished musician his hands are not fully connected; evident by the tightness in his jaw and teeth.  This will be our focus over the next month.

Tim left feeling good.  He is headed up north for a short getaway with family.  We look forward to hear how he does.

More small victories

First day where I'm feeling slower in a while. I'm still getting around, but not as easily as lately. I have been much more active lately and am surprised at how far I am able to walk. I was able to take care of baby Odin alone today, which is something I was not able to do for a while. It is only doing simple tasks, but it makes a huge difference and is a victory in my book

Appointment update

I used the gym yesterday and had an appointment today. I have noticed using the energy gym even a day before a secral appointment seems to prepare me. Another big thing I've noticed is how helpful secral work is during and after neuro feedback. The one time I have had neuro feedback last week it made me feel woozy and odd. But every other time in combination it seems to have no side effects. But either way it seems to be making a big difference for the positive.

Saturday, February 11, 2012

After having two days of neuro-feedback this week, I saw a large difference in how much I can move my legs, as well as how much sensation is returning. This was however, the first time I felt a large movement from the neurofeedback starting in my legs and shooting up into my torso. A the time I described it as similiar to the feeling of opiate Pain medication, which was a big push in my torso and light headedness.

The big difference I did notice this week was I finally felt the fatigue effects thursday and a little on Friday. It wasn't a bad feeling by any means, but my body was just wanting not to move around too much. Even with that, I still have not been using a cane or any assistive devices. For me it is a HUGE mental victory being to walk around and not being relaint on something just to get around my house. I have used a wheelchair, walker, and cane in public, and there was nothing I hated more then people staring at me or thinking there's something wrong with me. I can understand why I would seem weird to see such a young person so disabled, but I don't believe they understand how deeply it hurts the person.

On the positive end, everyone that has been seeing me has commented on how "back to normal" I look. Which is something I haven't heard in a very long time. I love being able to stand in a room full of people and bein the tallest person in the room again. I really love looking down at people more then looking up. Not to forget that I have been working at the recording studio and going to guitar class. I know that for the first time since I have had surgery I am actually playing confidently again. It took over a year of huge ups and downs in how well I could play. There would be times where I would have guitar lessons, and not be able to play guitar at all myself.

All in all I am very grateful of how far I have come, I look forward to the little victories I am having day to day over small tasks that used to be daunting.

CST Session 2/8/12

Tim came in and again we did NFB beginning with his feet.  The NFB was expanded to include right above his spine (around T8).  The NFB electrodes were placed in a triangular shape and two sets were done.

In between placing the electrodes Tim felt a very big shift occur:  from his feet to his mid thoracic area.  He felt better after the shift.  The NFB continued through his legs and feet.

After his session he spoke with us and another client suffering from his legs becoming numb.  He was able to provide insight and speak with clarity about his journey.  Tim will continue to use the gym as needed and will continue his weekly sessions.  He is driving farther distances and is becoming more independent.  His family is very happy at his progress.

Tim is very motivated to get better.  Each day brings more and more independence.  We will see how two sessions effected him and make decisions to continue at the pace we are or do more sessions per week.

CST Session 2/7/12

Tim came in today and while talking to us the comment was made he looked "normal".  This meant he looked like your average person - no tilting, leaning on one side more than the other.  He said he felt really good - and each day is better.

Again we started NFB on his feet; inclusive of an electrode on L5.  The right leg came in very quickly.  When we were finished there was definitely more feeling in his left foot and leg.  The process feels like your body is thawing out - does not happen all at once but can feel spots changing from numb to feeling.

He continues to take his remedy.  Tim will be in tomorrow for an extra session this week.  We will see how it goes.

CST Session 2/1/12

Tim came in ready to do the neurofeedback again.  He said his right leg and foot is feeling better and better; but the left.................

So we began again on his right foot and extended the use of neurofeedback through his shin and calf.  Tim could feel the pulsing. It was exciting.  We did multiple sites and really seemed to get the right foot and leg to some level of maintenance. We will get an update in the next week as to how much was maintained.

More time was spent on the left foot today; inclusive of the shin and calf.  There was a definite change to the left foot/leg but degree of maintenance will be determined when we see him next.  I have an idea with the neurofeedback to see if we get him in online faster.  Will keep you posted.

CST Session 1/25/12

We began the session with cranial sacral therapy focusing on the pelvis; following through to the legs.  In our efforts and Tim's desire to get well as quickly as possible we discussed last session to do something different.

Today we will be using the neurofeedback equipment in a different way.  While the majority of time it is used in conjunction with the brain we have decided to try it on Tim's feet.  We placed the electrods and ear clips on three points of his right foot first.  The points were chosen by Kathleen based on feeling and asking Tim's body.  We did five different arrangements.  Tim could feel the pulsing.

Next we did Tim's left foot.  We did this multiple times as this side is afflicted at a greater level.  Not much changed in the left foot - but we are optimistic the foot will begin to wake up.

While doing this toxins within Tim's compressed and wounded tissue began stirring.  When this happens we call this "icky man".  It is that icky feeling you get when you begin to feel ill.  Tim was told due to the large amount of toxins stirred he could vomit in the next 24 hours and not to be alarmed.  Drink plenty of water and add electrolytes if needed.

We completed his session with cranial vault work.  Tim is still taking his homeopathic remedies.  He was feeling better when he left.  We look forward to the next session.

Great appointment

Feel very nice after another intense session Wednesday. My legs have felt more and more like a part of my body again, which is a very motivating feeling. It also feels great being able to drive and spend more time playing guitar without having pain. The must uplifting part for me is to be able to finally focus back on my musical studies like before my surgery. It is also great that I am able to make a bigger difference at my recording studio. Yesterday I had a massive daunting project, but was able to pull if off even better than I had imagined. I feel a big boost of energy and confidence, and am really starting to feel like my old self again!

I really believe doing the neuro feedback on my feet is making a noticeable difference in the feeling in my feet and legs every time I have it done. As Kathleen said, in my right leg it is finally feeling just like a regular leg. But the left leg, Which has had numbers issues since I was 14 I not quite there. But, either way it's noticibly different.

Removing toxins but feeling better

Just as Kathleen predicted, yesterday morning I woke up and vomited, but was okay for the most part after. I thought for sure it was not going to happen after going home Wednesday and feelin energetic not sick and tired. I was stunned that after the appointment I wanted to get out and move my legs. They felt recharged and energized I believe from the neuro feedback on my feet. I am still very excited and look forward to going in today to use the gym and get more time under the quantum laser.

First time driving again

After a very intense session yesterday, I felt motivated and strong so I decided to try to drive. It was supposed to be just down the street, but I felt good and decided to keep going and went a considerable distance, and even drove on the freeway. I felt totally comfortable and natural, and my leg had no troubles. Deinately a victory.

CST Session 1/18/12

Today we did multiple modalities on Tim.  We started with a neurofeedback map and added body work.  Starting with his left side and moving to his right.  A lot of work was done on the spine.  Both body worker and Tim could feel how deeply connected the bodyworker was to his spine.  The best connections are when it is difficult for the bodyworker to remove their hand.  Under these conditions it is best to hold on as long as possible as much is being accomplished.

Tim also asked to do the ghHW method.  This was done in conjunction with the body work.  There were two remedies used.

The session ended with a round of neurofeedback.  There was a definite change in his brain wave activity and he was much more at peace and calmer when he got off the table.  He looked very relaxed.

Tim informed us of how he was sick the previous day(s).  Usually he would end up in the hospital but this time he recovered faster and without the need for intervention.  Cranial-sacral therapy does amazing things to the immune system.  If you have a compromised immune system you should consider having cranial sacral therapy sessions.

Tim's next session will continue with neurofeedback, ghHW and bodywork.

Fighting off illness

Before going to my appointment today, I have to mention that I got extremely sick Sunday night, and still have not bounced back from it. Sickness is bad enough, but with an existing condition it is devastating. It took two days to get out of bed, the body aches and pain made walking nearly impossible and the dizziness is amplified.

On the other side, this is the first time ive been very sick and not hospitalized with uncontrolled vomiting and muscle spasms. If there is one thing I hate, it is a hospital. I like together better my way, because I know it works. I pulled out my Rhus-tox for the nausea and I enjoyed the magnetic pole as well. I noticed being sick my boy wanted different remedies than normal. I held each bottle one at a time to feel what energies my body is craving. I am glad that I am able to bounce back much quicker than before and hope for an even faster recovery next time.

Tiredness and pain flares

I have noticed my body wanting sleep like never before. The last month or so after every appointment I have felt very relaxed but tired. I used to last a few hours, but after the last appointment, it hasn't left. I know sleeping is healing, and my body is finally able to start relaxing again. It feels almost as if my spine is a big knot, and as the knot becomes undone, the relaxation radiates through my body just as the pain does. It is amazing to witness and experience first hand how vitally important the spine is to every function of the body, and how damaging it at any spot can give problems from head to toe and everywhere in between.

On the other hand, even though the days have been warmer, I have been having a pretty long pain flare up. I know most pain flares are a few hours, but I notice for some reason when my pain flares, it can last for a couple hours to a week or more. I know this muscle pull was a sign from my body to take it easy, because I have learned over and over the hard way that if I were to try to ignore it like I used to, things will get a lot worse a lot faster. More and more this condition feels like a rollercoaster and the best defense I can have is to always expect and prepare for the worst so I don't get blindsided and have a big decline in health again.

CST Session 1/11/12

Tim came in today which some muscle pain in his mid back.  He recounted how this pain came about while a young teenager.  The process of working on someone is to delayer the body as quickly as possible.  As said before the first few sessions can bring feelings of elation, sometimes euphoria; however, the real work comes in the deeper layers.  We are at this point with Tim.

In the deep layers we find the anchor points.  All injuries adhered to an anchor point must reverse.  A successful reversal is when you and your body come to terms with the pain on a very different level.  Tim is beginning to have these experiences.  Injuries people forgot about years ago will come to light; inclusive of details never translated before.

Today we were able to get deep into the center line of the body - from head to toes.  It is clear his skull developed at an angle due to a traumatic injury in his youth.  The velocity of the injury was so great the left side of his skull became stuck.  As he grew the compression worsened.

Being a child he knew to feel no different than how he felt - as we all do.  What does an unrestricted, decompressed body feel like.  It is the lightest feeling of all!  Those who achieve this truly lead inspired lives as they do not live under the density of such compressions.

Hurray for Tim as he continues this journey.  He will learn and relate things at levels he has not entertained.  We look in awe as to where he is and where he will be.

Feeling in foot and pulled muscle

I was sitting here on the couch watching tv and noticEd my foot was subconsciously rubbing against the carpet. When it caught my attention, I noticed I could feel the texture of the carpet against my right foot. Awesome sign

But, about a day and a half ago I started having the feeling of a pulled muscle on the right ride of my spine. I used to pull the same muscle regularly pulled when I took PE in school. Although it's nice to feel, the pulled muscle is escpecially disableing after having gotten worse from high school.

1/3/12--Homeopath

Tim noted that he is taking his remedy Op LM3 every night and he is also taking a magnetic-S.pole 30c in the morning daily.  He said he has noticed that he can feel his foot when putting on his shoe along with other feelings in his foot.  This is a BIG DEAL since Tim could not ever feel his feet.  He is able to walk but just by picking up his legs with his thighs.  He has not been able to drive yet because he was not able to feel his feet.  He is very excited about the prospect of driving himself to an appointment in the next few weeks. (If all goes well)  Kathleen and I are so very excited to see Tim's advancement.  We can only think of how many other people can be helped to walk again.
Tim also noted that he is only taking his 1 pain medication 3 times a day now.  He was at 5 times a day a few weeks ago.  That is really great!!!  Actually, at the start of coming to the Cranial Sacral Center Tim said he was taking over 20 pills a day.  WOW now that is real healing!!
Tim also mentioned that in the last week he had a pain in his chest that went thru to his back .  This was a pain he had in the past.  We call that reverse healing.  Kathleen and I have seen this happen in our professions and it is a sign that the body is reversing itself to a state of health.  We like to see that.  Every week is so exciting to see the improvements.   I can't wait until next time!!!

CST Session 1/4/12

Tim's session started today with work on his right side.  It took over an hour to get through the entire spine from toe to head.  When the right side was completed he said he could feel it even more.  Tim told us how he was starting to have feeling and sensations in various parts of his right leg and his body clearly wanted us to focus on the right side today.

While doing the body work, Linda worked the ghHW method.  Tim informed her he had been taking his remedy religiously and feeling better.  Linda continued the ghHW method throughout the whole session.  The majority of conversations today were between Linda and Tim; as intense body work takes the practitioner out due to the energetic connection between client and therapist.

Work then started on his left side.  There is a definite difference in both sides. The right side has much more life to it and you can feel the systems flowing better.  We were able to get through his left leg and into the lower back.  We will work the left side more on his next session.

Progress is being made.  We are all happy at his progress.  He is doing extremely well.  God Bless him.

New year update

I had a nice and calm holiday season. It was great to be able to get out as much as possible. I have been having lots of feeling and better movement in my right leg. I am finally starting to get back large areas where I can feel temperature and some touch. Which is huge compared to the leg feeling nothing whatsoever and not able to move either leg. The only bad thing that has happened was an extreme pain attack, which I felt a pain that I almost forgot. It is an extremely deep core pain that radiates from my mid spine and is one of the worst feelings I know. It is a pain so extreme I was literally in fear of it not going away or getting worse.
